1991: Founder and president of the International Biomedical Group (IBG) companies: International Biomedical Engineering Technologies (IBE-Tech) and Biomedical Service & Trading (BST); provided scientific and consultative methods in biomedical industries and healthcare – the companies have been manufacturing ultrasound imaging equipment.
1991: Started a cooperation with The US Universal Sonics Company to contribute to the development of its production of diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
1992: Founded Al-Mashreq Hospital, El-Menoufia

1995: Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Dept., Cairo University for 6 years, throughout which he designed and introduced 7 key specializations in biomedical engineering, which are: medical imaging, clinical engineering, biomechanics , biological signal processing, biomedical informatics, medical control systems and biomedical electronics, along with laying the foundation for their practical schools.

Published 120 scientific research papers mostly in the field of medical imaging. He was the first to publish a computer-assisted proportional analysis of the ultrasound images to assess the degrees of hepatic fibrosis.
